Hardy Boys Mystery Map – By Franklin W. Dixon – I am so glad I found this younger Hardy Boys series. It finds Frank and Joe in their earlier years already solving mysteries. In Mystery Map a hidden piece of hamburger wrapper with a map on it leads the Hardy Boys to find some stolen money.

Stellaluna – By Janell Cannon – This book is about a young bat who is separated from his mother. He goes to live with some birds. These birds convince him to sleep during the day not the night. They also get him to sleep standing up and not hanging upside down. One evening when they are flying the young bat gets lost. He goes to sleep and is awaken by other birds that look like him. As he talks with them he learns his mother did not die and wants him back. He is so excited that he goes back to his bird family and wants them to come meet his mother. The young bat learns that although he is similar to his bird friends. He is more like the bats. He learns it is okay to be different from your friends.
